🌐 ASEAN Energy Data Highlights Did you know? From 2010 to 2019, only 15.8% of the development finance designated for energy-gender initiatives were deployed for renewable energy (RE) projects, while the majority were directed towards coal-fired power plants, electric power transmission and distribution in centralised grids. Gender Equality in ASEAN Energy booklet outlines the ASEAN region’s commitment to gender equality within the energy sector, recognizing the critical role of gender equality and women’s empowerment in achieving a peaceful, prosperous, and sustainable community. 🔗 Read more on ACE website: https://lnkd.in/geeWqAyg
